Format the other drive, if you do not delete the default one (the one in the C Drive) than you should be fine. Be warned that you will lose all files in the drive you format if you do this.
Reply:If you need the files on the drive, open the drive, find the XP folder and delete it. Then run a program like ccleaner to clean up your registry.

Trying to clean-up PC & found these folders in C drive, $ntuninstall,$ntserviceP,$msi3... can i delete them?

Everytime you install a Windows Update, an uninstaller program is included - just in case the update crashes your computer. You can safely remove them if you are sure the updates are working fine.
Reply:yes if your computer is running ok they are the backup's of your system from when you updated windows, they are there for you should you wish to go back to before you updated, should anything have gone wrong.
Reply:no, these files may have files that are important to a game or games, windows (your OS), a typing program, etc. my suggestion is not to mess around with the files in drive C:\.

LOOK BUT DON'T TOUCH.
Reply:No they are what helps run windows

Cannot delete windows folder off my primary disc "C"?

I want to completly clean up my primary hard drive so I can reinstall, and start over again, cause I dont have enough memory on my secondary hard disc "E"?

Cannot delete windows folder off my primary disc "C"?
this is because- thats where your OS files are- and theyre write protected if you are logged into that OS in an account.if by cleaning out your hard drive you mean completely erase the stuff;you need to format it- to do this right click on the c drive, choose format, click start now sit bask and say tata to your system files.
Reply:Hi

Dear you cannot delete windows folder from c: since by default c: is the primary partition which is the active partition. so if at all you want to delete the windows folder you have to format that drive ie c: using a CD any windows operating system xp,2000,2003...after formating that drive you can install the operating system as per your need formating that drive doesn't mean that you will lose your data in other drives you will lose only the data of c:

try this dear..

To delete files and skip the recycle bin, when you delete a file, just hold down one of the shift keys.

I found this folder on my C drive. What is it? Can I delete it?
yeah why not, if it is needed your computer will come up with a kernel error
Reply:Open it up and see what is inside. If it is files you know of, keep it.

If it is empty, it may be a virus, or, something else. Quarantine it.
Reply:I have no idea what it is, but try deleting it, then before you empty your recycle bin, make sure that everything works ok. If it does, then you didn't need it. If something doesn't work, then that file is necessary, %26amp; you should restore it before you empty your recycle bin.
Reply:It is to something in your dynamic link library. do not elet it, unless you want windows to stop working.
Reply:I think it may be a temporary decompression folder, from installing a service pack or something. However, do not delete! You should never tinker with anything that you didn't put there yourself, unless you are *absolutely* certain of what it is. If you post a list of the files inside, I might be able to tell what it is.

Update: It looks like a decompression folder for Microsoft .NET Framework -- the update might have been interrupted. Feel free to delete.

How to delete a song from your ipod that some one else put on there from another p.c?
You have to delete them from iTunes.
Reply:Easy, when your iPod is connected to iTunes, check

'❐ manually manage' and then you can select the music library in you iPod and delete or put on as many songs as you like. Why do so many iPod users not know this?

Cannot delete my email, also comp. is slow c.50% of the time?

Well, you do have a computer problem! Mine does this ever so often...most of the time I just defragment, do disk cleanup and run my AVG anti-spyware and AVG anti-virus (which you can download free full version from yahoo home page). Sometimes my mail doesn't delete as fast as I would like it to, but it does delete...go out of it when the computer finally lets you,and do the things I said-chances are, you do have a virus....
