I found this folder on my C drive. What is it? Can I delete it?
yeah why not, if it is needed your computer will come up with a kernel error
Reply:Open it up and see what is inside. If it is files you know of, keep it.





If it is empty, it may be a virus, or, something else. Quarantine it.
Reply:I have no idea what it is, but try deleting it, then before you empty your recycle bin, make sure that everything works ok. If it does, then you didn't need it. If something doesn't work, then that file is necessary, %26amp; you should restore it before you empty your recycle bin.
Reply:It is to something in your dynamic link library. do not elet it, unless you want windows to stop working.
Reply:I think it may be a temporary decompression folder, from installing a service pack or something. However, do not delete! You should never tinker with anything that you didn't put there yourself, unless you are *absolutely* certain of what it is. If you post a list of the files inside, I might be able to tell what it is.





Update: It looks like a decompression folder for Microsoft .NET Framework -- the update might have been interrupted. Feel free to delete.
