My mom backed up my C drive to my D drive via Norton 360, how do I delete the copied content on my D drive?

Everytime I start up my computer, I get a little bubble in the corner saying my D hard drive is full and needs to be cleaned up. I do this everytime because it gets rid of the bubble until the next time. This summer my mom put Norton 360 on my computer and she screwed up something and had my C hard drive get backed up onto my D drive. I want to delete that content on my D drive as my computer has been running slowly and I want to see if that would help it. I use Windows XP and my computer is a 2004 Compaq desktop (please do not answer with "get a new computer" because it is a functioning computer and I don't have the money to do that, so why bother?)
