How do I delete all the files in C:\WINDOWS\TEMP?

This is a suggestion on how to cure my other problem.

How do I delete all the files in C:\WINDOWS\TEMP?
simply open the temp. folder after window starts and manually delete the files.Otherwise use a third party software like ccleaner or cmDisk cleaner to do the job.
Reply:Well, if you're even a little bit adept at using your pc, you can pull up a DOS window by going to Start, All Programs, Accessories, and then click on Command Prompt. Once there, type in: CD \ (and hit enter).

At that prompt, type in: DEL /s *.tmp (and hit enter)......to go over this, it's DEL (space) /S (space) *.TMP (and then enter).

That DOS command says to the pc "From this directory, and for all subsequent directories springing off from here, delete any and all files that have the file extension of .TMP" That'll do the job for you.
Reply:Hi! go for this method Start%26gt;All programs%26gt;accessories%26gt;system tools%26gt;Disk cleanup.. there clear ur C drive .
Reply:first close all you running applications, then select all the files in the TEMP folder and press shift+del....if it shows an access denied error, u r still running some application tht uses some files from the TEMP folder
Reply:Use Unlocker to delete the folder and create a new folder named TEMP. Unlocker is FREEWARE!
Reply:wndows explorer select view%26gt;select all
