I just don't want to delete it and then realize I broke my computer or made it more vulnerable for threats.
Webroot AntiVirus with AntiSpyware tried to clean then quarantine the file, but the Mal/Heuri-E remained there.
If I can't delete it, are there other routes to take?
Can I delete this infected file safely to kill the virus infecting it?: c:\windows\cfinduninst.exe?
It's best to delete it.
Reply:I don't have that file, so it probably isn't necessary. But just in case, create a system restore point (Start%26gt;All Programs%26gt;Acessories%26gt;System Tools%26gt;System Restore). Then delete the file. If your system gets messed up, simply restore your computer to the point you created. I doubt deleting the file will upset the system, but if it does you may have to boot into safe mode and then run System Restore.
Reply:Maybe this will help:
