You can ignore your account for at least 4 months and it will automatically be deleted for inactivity, or you can go about deleting it yourself.





When you terminate your account, you permanently lose all saved data and Yahoo site access associated with your ID. Yahoo will ask you to enter your password one last time and then you will click on the "Yes, terminate this account" button. Your entire account will then be completely %26amp; irretrievably deleted.

u should go to settings then there is a delete account there... juz press it and they will ask u a confirmation qn whether u want to delete it or not... juz click on yes... ^^
Reply:You can delete the account two ways. The first is not to log in for 4 months and Yahoo! will deactivate due to non-usage.





The second way you need to use a link. Make sure to read the link thoroughly. You are closing more than your e-mail account. Once you delete the account you will not be able to recover your account account. You will need to click the "Account Deletion" and then enter your password.
