I don't want my PC to do it for me I want to do it manually.

It will quickly show the location and size of all the files on your pc allowing you to navigate too and delete.





Please note the free version won't work on network drives
Reply:I suggest u use cc cleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com/) this removes the unwanted files. This is not manual, but safe and reliable.

Reply:go to C: drive and right go to property and go to tool and click Clean





2 - go to run and write " %tmp%" and delete all Temp files


3- go to run and write " temp" and delete all OS temp files


3- go to run and write " prefetch" and delete all files





after that you will notice that you pc becomes more faster





by the way i advise you to install TuneUP 2008 it is very good tool for this tasks

Reply:Go to the location of old %26amp; junk files, highlight one by one %26amp; hit delete key.


It is better that you copy all such files in a CD before delete.


This back up may be of some help at a later date.
