C:\program files\common files\ symantec shared . is it safe to delete this folder and its content after uninst

alling Norton AV and System work.


I got NAV 2006 and NSW 2005


because the folder contains a lot of .dll and config files will my windows still work later after I deleted the folder ?





I want to delete it IF I CAN, because it takes 68 mb space in my primary drive


anyway those datas are for Symantec use only right


so after I uninstalled symantec softwares %26amp; stop using it , those wont be used or ran again right ??





2.If its safe for now, later on if I want to install NAV or NSW 2007 will it give me any problem if I had deleted it ??

Its safe if Norton is Uninstalled
Reply:If you want to uninstall Norton, symantec has a removal tool for it. You can reinstall it after you are through with uninstalling

Reply:its 100% ok to delete if you have uninstalled... if you decide to isntall again, the installer will reinstall the files.
