How can i delete from my HISTORY file after loging on to a web site ?????

i am having trouble delteing info. from my history file, after loging in to veiw a web site, how can or where do look on my p/c to delete site that i've veiwed ( look at )

Reply:you can go to settings on your toolbar, and then browser options. then click on display and clear urls and clear searches, then click ok.

Turn off AutoComplete= Go to Tools/Internet Options/Content tab/Within the Personal Information area, select 'AutoComplete'/Click on 'Clear Forms'.


Also uncheck the 'Forms' box in the same window.


Try tools/internet options/advanced/security/put check mark in box, "empty temp ....blah blah ..."/apply/ok/ok .. and tools/internet options/content/auto complete/click on"clear forms"/then uncheck all 3 boxes/ok/ok ............. Right click empty area of taskbar/properties/start menu tab/customize/advanced/take check mark out of box/click "clear list"/ok/apply/ok .........

Reply:press ctrl + h. right click on the site and click delete. or rite click on "today' at the very top and deletes all the sites you visited that day... i do that every night, and every time i shut down
