How dp u delete a yahoo answers account??

My friend needs to delete hers b/c her parents hates her having it

How dp u delete a yahoo answers account??
The account can't be deleted on here.
Reply:Well, despite what all the high-ranking "geniuses" said about not being able to delete your account, it looks as though the asker successfully did so, hence the "Oops" message as her profile. Makes you sad, doesn't it? Seems like she had a sexy little Avatar. Report It

Reply:You don't. Only Yahoo can delete an account. All you can do is change settings to private and stop answering questions. There are accounts where the person has not been here in a few months. They (Yahoo) might delet it if it was reported for abuse, like gaming for points or something but Why would you want to report yourself??? I supose if you really really want to get your "content" deleted that would be a way to go about it. I would NOT recomend doing the above I only say it is the only way I can think of to get the content removed.
Reply:Yahoo wont let her delete it. She can delete open questions or answers, but not the resolved ones. Yahoo holds all our info for some reason.





To delete a question, just go back to the question and underneath it, theres a pencil icon, just click on that and select delete. To delete an answer, go to the question that was asked and select delete under the answer.
Reply:She can't, but tell her to take off her email address and instant messenger so that people can't find her.
