My Daughter did 'something' to the computer,Now i have had to go to p.c recovery. and everything on my P.C had been deleted and i tried to system restore. But it will not go back to yesterday Only today. However do i get it back to where it was or get my files back ? all pictures and info is gone,its back to factor settings..

Well, if you're running XP and you did an entire System Recovery (using the disks that came with the computer or in a different partition on your hard drive), you've wiped out your computer so it's just like the day you bought it. If you already tried System Restore and the most recent 'save' is showing today, there isn't any previous day to go to, so your files probably are lost. I know there's a way that people can get ANYTHING off a hard drive, even when wiped clean, but that's for the police techies, not us mortals.
