Yes you do get your points back IF the question went into voting and someone voted for no best answer. Otherwise it remains in voting forever.





If however YOU deleted the question, you don't get your points back.

You are supposed to, if the question went all the way through an no answer was given
Reply:No, you don't. And what's worse is it turns gray and you can't access it and it just sits on your questions list forever and you can't get rid of it.
